Canopy Garden Office

Fixtures and Fittings:

As part of our standard package, our Canopy Garden Office comes with contemporary brushed-aluminium fixtures and fittings. These include:

• Interior track light with 4 adjustable spotlights
• Exterior LED canopy downlights
• 4 x double plug sockets
• 1 x light switch
• 5kw glass fronted heater
• Consumer unit

If you would like to add further elements such as wall lights or extra power sockets, we can quote for and fit them to meet your exact requirements. 

Please note that provision of an electrical power supply to a Canopy Garden Office is not included. However, we will gladly advise support you with the installation process if required.

Flooring:

We furnish our Canopy Garden Offices with hard-wearing oak laminate flooring, which comes with a 5-year manufacturer guarantee that covers the finish and wear. This is completed with pre-primed timber skirting, ready for painting and decoration. If you would like us to fit your Canopy Garden Office with alternative flooring style or colour, we would be happy to do so.

Wall Construction:

The walls of your Canopy Garden Office are constructed using advanced techniques and multi-layered materials, including:

• 18mm timber cladding 
• 25mm x 35 tanalized timber to allow air circulation
• Waterproof membrane 
• 4”x2” c16 structural timber with acoustic insulation 
• Celotex rigid insulation 
• Plasterboard and plaster skim coat 

The walls are externally clad in hardy western red cedar timber to blend with the natural surroundings. Over time the warm red colour of the wood will gradually fade to a silver-grey hue, which is just a stunning – of not more so. However, there are products on the market that we can recommend for delaying this colour changing process and to minimise the effects of UV and sunlight.

Internally, the Canopy Garden Office professionally plastered and skimmed, providing a smooth, finished surface for painting (please allow up to 2 weeks for the plaster to dry out fully).

Roofing System:

The roofing system used on our Canopy Garden Offices are made from energy efficient insulated panels, finished with a seamless waterproof membrane. The finished look is minimal, stylish, and maintenance-free.

Windows and Doors:

Our standard Canopy Garden Offices feature stunning French doors and a small side window to maximise the natural light and connect you with the outdoors. These are available in a choice of colours, sizes, and shapes. You can also upgrade to aluminium bi-fold doors or sliding doors if you wish.

Foundations:

All of our Modern Garden Offices, including the Canopy Office, are erected on a sturdy pile foundation system. We dig holes at 1m intervals across the footprint of the structure and fill these with concrete that is reinforced with metal stilts. As we assemble your Canopy Garden Office it is anchored to this foundation, which keeps the structure dry and maintains necessary airflow.
