Cube Garden Office

Fixtures and Fittings:

All Cube Garden Offices in our standard package come complete with elegant brushed-aluminium fixtures and fittings. These include:

• Interior track light with 4 adjustable spotlights
• 4 x double plug sockets
• 1 x light switch
• 5kw glass fronted heater
• Consumer unit

If you wish to add extra fixtures and fittings such as wall lights or additional sockets, we can provide a quote and install them in your Cube Garden Office.

Please note that provision of an electrical power supply to a Cube Garden Office is not included. However, we will gladly advise and support you with the installation process if required.

Flooring:

Our Cube Garden Offices are furnished with durable oak laminate flooring. This comes comes with a 5-year guarantee from the manufacturer, covering defects to the finish or premature wear. Alternatively, we can fit your Cube Garden Office with flooring in a different colour or material to suit your taste. The flooring is completed timber skirting that is pre-primed ready for painting.

Wall Construction:

Cube Garden Office walls are constructed using innovative methods and are made from multi-layered materials, including:

• 18mm timber cladding
• 25mm x 35 tanalized timber to allow air circulation
• Waterproof membrane
• 4”x2” c16 structural timber with acoustic insulation
• Celotex rigid insulation
• Plasterboard and plaster skim coat

We clad the external walls in western red cedar wood, which is both durable and aesthetically pleasing. With natural weathering, the warm red tones of the timber will gradually fade to a beautiful silver-grey shade. If you wish to lessen this colour change process, we can recommend timber of treatments to minimise the impact of UV and sunlight.

The internal walls of the Cube Garden Office are plastered, skimmed, and prepared for painting and decoration (please allow up to 2 weeks for the plaster fully dry).

Roofing System:

The Cube Garden Office features an energy efficient roofing system made from insulated panels and a continuous waterproof membrane. The finished look is modern, minimalist, and practical.

Windows and Doors:

Our standard Cube Garden Offices include beautiful French doors and a small side window, which are available in a choice of colours, sizes, and shapes. These can be upgraded to aluminium bi-fold doors or sliding doors.

Foundations:

All our Modern Garden Offices, including the Cube Office, are built on a robust pile foundation system. Holes are dug at 1m intervals across the footprint of the structure and filled with reinforced concrete. Your Cube Garden Office it then anchored to this foundation as it is assembled, allowing necessary airflow and preventing damp from penetrating the structure.
